While walking down Sacramento the other day, my boyfriend’s sharp eye caught this doozy at the corner of Hyde. Somebody may have had too many cocktails before coming to work. Who edits these things? As my friend Matt suggests, please send all strongly-worded (and correctly-spelled) letters to City Hall at 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place.

Anyone seen any other street-spelling faux pas in the neighborhood?

Michelle Homme spotted this amazing truck recently in front of her Polk Street shop, Homme. Not only does this ole red truck have a shingled ROOF — ! — but its owner is just sitting in the back of it . . . sharpening knives! The Mission’s taco trucks have nothing on Russian Hill’s very own knife-sharpening, headphone-wearing, shingled roof truck driver!

I saw this on Polk St yesterday and it cracked me up. It was at Holiday Cleaners on Polk between Washington and Jackson. Who waits till March to get their Santa suit cleaned???

Well Amy, my guess is that these Santacon drunkards might not all have their sh*t — or their laundry — together. I love that the Santa wig is being dry cleaned too : )
